Malecot catheter set
The ASTER Malecot Catheter Set is used for percutaneous placement of a ASTER Catheter in the renal pelvis for nephrostomy drainage. ASTER’s Malecot Catheters sets are supplied in sterile peel-open packaging and are intended for one time use only.
The catheters are made of Polyurethane and are blue in color. The needle is manufactured from Stainless Steel. Guide wires are made of PTFE Evergreen coated Stainless Steel. The urine bag connector is made of PVC. Fascial dilators are made of Grey PeBax®.
